Still Life Process Post- color wash and highlights

First color wash, apple is clearly darker than it should be and the vase is lighter than it should be, but the background color is set.
First color wash, apple is clearly darker than it should be and the vase is lighter than it should be, but the background color is set.
Added a few color correcting washes, but the vase was still not dark as is should be.

Darkened the vase slightly, added more depth to apple, added more shadow inside vase.

Finished oil painting with final highlights of pure white and areas with pure paint added!
